CHUM adopts the “Heart-Healthy” meal plans of SOSCuisine

It is with great pleasure and tremendous pride that we announce the official launch today, on 28 March 2012, of the 3-year partnership between the Fondation du CHUM (University of Montreal Health Centre) and our company (Sukha Technologies Inc. – SOSCuisine).

Through this initiative, 1000 patients of the CHUM Cardiovascular Centre will receive subscriptions every year to SOSCuisine Heart Healthy and Diabetes meal plans.

These meal plans, which are based on the Mediterranean diet, use mostly natural foods, contain little or no processing, and comply fully with all the recommendations of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the American Heart Association and the famous DASH diet which has proven itself beyond any doubt. They are especially appropriate for controlling hypertension, high cholesterol and hypertriglyceridemia.

In addition, 450 employees of the CHUM Cardiovascular Centre will also be offered SOSCuisine meal plans of their choice, and will therefore balance healthy eating, pleasure, speed and savings.

We are honoured to have been chosen by the CHUM and to be able to contribute to the effective prevention of cardiovascular diseases, and enrich our knowledge along with this very talented team of specialists, in order to provide the best possible service to our users.
