An espresso in space

In recent weeks, astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) are savouring authentic Italian coffee with an espresso machine specially designed to overcome the constraints of zero gravity.

ISSpresso is the result of collaboration between coffee company Lavazza and Argotec, an Italian engineering company specializing in the design of aeronautic systems and the preparation of food for consumption in space.

Besides a good coffee, Argotec also provides the ISS astronauts with meals worthy of their mission. You too can try them out by ordering them online in the Argotec website.
